An article I came across today. Nothing new really, but I like the thought that after last season that they felt the secondary was the weakest link and took care of it. Every time I think about it, it seems we are building this the right way for the future. We may not be Super Bowl bound in 2009, but we are doing it the right way, IMHO.

"Sparano wants more pressure on opposing quarterbacks, pointing out that while outside linebacker Joey Porter had 17.5 sacks last season, the team’s No. 2 sacker was Jones (3), who plays cornerback."

Roth had 5 sacks. I think someone else did too.

Roth had 5 sacks and Vonnie Holliday had 3.5

When it comes to Brady the way to break down that offense is to sack tom as much as possible.. Look what happen the super bowl two years ago and coming off an injury.. it will get to him.

Will Taylor steal sacks from Roth?

Yeah, and Roth did not play on passing downs, which is where ya get your sacks. Watch him this year.

Won't Taylor play passing downs? Who knows, really... I always liked Roth... never saw much from him...

Get Tom Brady

You said it!

I felt it strongly, you have to be able to win your division and for years the Pats have been the top dog. BP and TS are gunning for that top dog spot. Ya gotta beat the Patsies.
