Parcells didnt like T.O....So why does he like Ricky???

....I know there situations arent exactly the same, but if you made a list of players who are distractions to a team, or a player who cant be counted on, Ricky and T.O. would be at/near the top of the list.

In my observation, it seemed that Jerry Jones brought T.O. to Dallas against Parcells will. I mean Parcells wouldnt even call T.O. by name in interveiws. Not to mention T.O. openly talked about the hostility between the two.

Now I know Ricky isnt a pre-maddona like T.O. You dont have to worry about Ricky whining to the media, or openly yelling at teamates in the middle of a game. But with all the suspentions, regardless what team he plays for, a team will always have to have alternate options at RB, because Ricky is one joint away from a lifetime ban.

Yet, Parcells does a complete 180 when coming to Miami and has embraced Ricky. Just wondering what my fellow fin fans thoughts are the situation???
 
ricky has never run his mouth.
ricky has never talked trash about players.
ricky has never been a locker room cancer.
ricky has had problems with social anxiety disorder and weed smoking.

Agreed ........... Distraction-yes............
But a completely different dynamic working here!!!
 
As much as I dislike and resent RW's presence on this team, I definitly see why BP would like him over TO. For all RW's faults, arrogance isn't one of them.
 
Exactly, Ricky isn't all over the news shooting off his mouth putting himself over the team at the first sign of trouble. Doesn't use the media as his playground. Plays hard EVERY play. Finally, he doesn't have Drew Rosehaus as his agent!
 
Because T.O is a stupid ****ing, *******, selfish, P.O.S that wants the spotlight. Ricky is nothing like him. But, thats just a guess. :rolleyes:

because ricky is a humble person with no ego, hes intelligent most of the time and is very talented.

Has anyone watched that hard knocks show?...... unbelievable the lack of disipline by those players, theres so good and so overconfident at the same time.

I would hate being a cowboy fan right now, no humility whatsoever.

Parcells has created a masterpiece down here, our players have weaknesses in the talent dept, but we are united, we are humble, were not a bunch of primadonnas.

Wade Phillips is a tool, jason garrett is the coach of that team, hes got the goods and because of him they will do great things.

i would rather lose with the right players then win with players i dont have respect for

All that being said, i will be rooting my *** off for the cowboys to make it to the dance because of zach.

At some point ya gotta get over the resentment.

You, I would guess, have made mistakes and have had probably more than one chance to make it right. We all have. That's life.

When Ricky breaks the plane of the endzone tomorrow, hopefully more than once, you will be screaming your head off just like the rest of us. :hi5: :woot:
 
They're totally different situations obviously.

Ricky is kind of a loner, TO is a popular guy who can and will split a locker room for whatever whim he may have on any given day.

Ricky has always been a team player, he doesn't do TD dances when he scores. He scores and scores and scores and just spikes the ball or drops it. TO is a great player don't get me wrong, and he has matured a lot since he left the Eagles, but he's always going to think of himself as a bad MF. He isn't a good guy, remember what he said to Barry Bonds a couple of years ago. He may be a great WR, but he will always be train wreck waiting to happen.

I've gone round and round with the RW fans all I care to. They aren't going to change thier minds, and, niether am I.

That said; I hope he can prove me wrong and have a magnificent season.....If he does I will be happy for the team about the circumstances, but, I will never forgive RW for the betrayal and, disingenuious return.

I'm not looking to start a big battle bro. Just thowin' my 2 cents in. :) RW fan or not. You love the team and so do I! :beer1:to you!
 
Two different types of players. TO brings a distraction every time he goes out on the field, Ricky really isn't half the distraction TO is.
