If everyone wants to get upset over this PC crap, and slang names like "Jap" then I think i'm gonna get offended when I'm called a "Yank" by foreigners or next time someone calls a person of Jewish decent a "Jew" I'll get upset and cry to the papers. Well, the word "Jap" was used to describe a Japanese person unflatteringly during World War II. It's pretty much on par with "Kraut" when applied to a German person. All I know is that Japanese and Japanese-Americans take offense to being described like that. And if Parcells wants to think of an adjective to describe a play, he needs to expand his vocabulary instead of defaulting to racism.

I don't understand this at all. He says "Japs" referring to Japanese and its wrong, but someone calls and American a "Yank" and everythings ok. I could understand if he said "gook", that's an obvious slur. :shakeno:
