Well, the word "Jap" was used to describe a Japanese person unflatteringly during World War II. It's pretty much on par with "Kraut" when applied to a German person. All I know is that Japanese and Japanese-Americans take offense to being described like that. And if Parcells wants to think of an adjective to describe a play, he needs to expand his vocabulary instead of defaulting to racism.
