Did anyone see the interview Schefter did with Parcells on NFL Network? It was on about 20 minutes ago.

Basically, it was like all the other interviews he did the past few days. He was there promoting his Gatorade painting and talking about how all the paintings will be auctioned off.

He was telling Schefter that his love for the game of football is like a narcotic and he loves every minute of it. He said as he gets older, each moment of every day(each draft pick, each move, each game) becomes more precious. He said he liked that we made the playoffs, but that isn't why he came to Miami. He wants a championship and said there is still a lot of work to do.

Schefter then said "So it is fair to say you won't take the opt out clause." Parcells said "Yes, it is fair to say that. Where else would I go?"

They then talked about his son-in-law Pioli taking over the Chiefs and that if he called Parcells for advice. He said not really, and that he wouldn't give Pioli a family discount when it comes to football advice. Basically, Parcells doesn't want to help the Chiefs become a threat to Miami. He did say that he hopes Pioli does well for them.

I hope this is Parcells final stop. I would love to see him remain a Dolphin for a very long time.

im looking forward to consecutive seasons of little regret and great impressions.
