Let's Go Back One Year. Who would Parcells and Ireland decide to take at the 9th Spot?
 
Patrick Willis ... the tuna loves him some linebackers

Plus, IMO they would have never signed Porter and would need linebackers to convert to the 3-4.

I was going to say that too... He def would have taken Willis and would have loved the pick
 
I think he would have taken Willis also, and that Chris Chambers would still be here.

I think Brady Quinn would have been a possibility too. We obviously needed a QB, and Brady played for Charlie Weiss and Notre Dame (who obviously vouched for him enough for former colleague Romeo Crennel to trade up for him). Both are from the Parcells coaching tree.
 
we had a huge need for QB at the time .... dont think he would have passed on quinn..... better yet he may have traded down realizing that we really had a bad team and needed more draft picks

I think that the old regime had explored trading down with no success....it's not an automatic that if you want to trade down you can.
 
was amobi still available at 9? I think it woud have been Willis.
 
I really think anyone but the two geniuses we had running things last year wouldve taken Quinn in our situation.

Willis is my choice too by a far margin with Okoye and Quinn outside possibilities
 
The reason you feel Quinn would have been an outside possibility is because you wouldnt be able to display your burning love ( your sig) for matt ryan to be drafted by us this year. haha just messin with ya man, i saw a hole so i ran thru it....
