I dont want to start another Beck vs Henne or McCown thread, but i thought this was interesting from Cote's blog:

"For what it's worth, someone I know very well knows someone who recently played golf with Bill Parcells. The suhttp://blogs.herald.com/.shared/image.html?/photos/uncategorized/2008/05/21/aaa1beck.jpgbject of Beck came up. Tuna said he likes what he sees of Beck in terms of skills but needed to find out, "Does he have balls?" (Tuna's words). That means the Dolphins need to be convinced Beck is tough enough for the job and will be a leader."

According to several people who post here, Parcells has already decided that Beck can't play QB.....

Nice, Beck is definitely tough despite his weakling looking frame, appearances lie sometimes.

If Bill thought beck was no good i think he would of released him a while ago.

Cote knows a guy who knows a guy who met a guy who talked to a guy about talking to a guy concerning Parcells' opinion relative to the quarterback position. From a speculation standpoint it appears that John Beck had his testicles removed.

I think this is a generic responce Parcells would give regarding any player in a position where there is uncertanty.

It's a motivating responce to any competitor.........no one likes to be called weak or heartless.

Any man who would take more than one wife HAS to have balls.

I kid, I kid.

BP already said he liked Beck a few months ago. He told Gil Brandt this in an interview. Its not like BP is going to say he doesnt like him.

I like Beck. I always will too, however, he has to earn this. McCown ain't no pro bowler, but he isn't a waste of a uniform either. And yeah, Hennes a big guy with a big arm from a big school. IF Beck can still shine through this competition this year, it'll show whether or not "He has balls."

Either way, its good to have youthful competition.

Hear that Beck haters? Since you've already drank the kool-aid from Parcells when he signed the great Josh McCown and drafted the legendary Chad Henne, is it time to anoint John Beck god?

The last thing Parcells cares about in his QB's are skills.

Where is that list of Bill Parcells' 11 Quarterback Commandments?

Skills aint on it.
