I thought we could use a thread to post all of the news coverage we find about Parcells. Everything out there is speculation, Parcells is the only one that knows whether he intends to exercise his escape clause (which he must utilize within the next few months or he loses it permanently). That being said, the prevailing logic is that he likes where he is and wants to stay. I hope that's true.

Read this story today about Carl Peterson potentially joining hte Dolphins FO and it's impact on Parcells' decision.

Good idea for a thread.

One small nit to pick. It is entirely possible that Ross will allow Parcells to re-negotiate his contract to extend the escape clause. It likely would cost Ross nothing and might incentivize Parcells into staying. This is 100% speculation, I'm just pointing out that the expiration date of the escape clause could change.

Yeah, they actually talk about extending the clause in the link I provided. :)

I don't see any reason to change the FO at all. Everything is perfect; these guys are doing a stellar job. If we renegotiate with BP at all, it should be to sign him to a lifetime deal.
