Parcells NOT named executive of the year!

still get no ****ing respect.
biggest turnaround in NFL history, faced more than the damn falcons, but no still no respect.
even after we win a superbowl we will still have to be fighting people who say its a fluke
 
I can see how Dimitroff got it with the off-field issues he had to manage (and did superbly). The Falcons were a mess. I'm extremely happy with the job Parcells has done, but I think the award went to the right person.
 
Yeah that is a bummer. He did it with the G men, the Patsies, the Green Sludge, the Pokes, and now us. That is five turnarounds and one with Q. Carter at QB! Regardless of the lack of recognition we know what went down this year. I have trust in the Tuna and is not going anywhere!
 
personally when you talk about these awards, its not like you have pure stats to show who is best. Just like coach of the year they named a worthy canidate. Atlanta and Miami were very bad teams and seriously if Cameron had coached Atlanta Im sure they could have went 1-15.
 
It's unfortunate but understandable. The Falcons were in a bad way last year. We had bad coaching last year. Also, when you miss badly on players like Wilford, that doesn't help.

it's a lot like this.

petyon manning.... nfl league mvp.

drew brees.... nfl offensive player of the year.

kurt warner.... nothing.

chad pennington... comeback player of the year.

I'm still scratching my head how a guy can be the offensive player of the year as a quarterback, than get by a quarterback for league mvp.
 
I see a lot of anger over Parcells not getting it, but no explanation of why he should have gotten it over Dimitroff. I can understand bias and pulling for a Phin, but some are acting as if Parcells should have not only won the award, but blown all other nominees out of the water. :lol:
