Parcells to stay after 2009?

As long as Carl "I kill Franchises" Peterson doesn't take over.
 
Parcells isn't going to leave. Why would he? The job here isn't done.

Like a poster said on PFT in response to Florio's 'Parcells leaving' article posted this morning http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/09/22/ross-thinks-parcells-will-be-back-in-2010/, if Parcells does leave after this season, why hire a successor to a position that was created specifically for Parcells? In the event that Parcells does leave, I am satisfied with Ireland. He IS our GM after all. Peterson would serve no purpose.
 
Next season i think this team transitions into something of championship caliber. I'll give credit to BP for sticking around to see that. He could have up and left after an incredible turnaround, 1-15 to 11-5, worst to first, division championship, cementing his iconic status as a franchise savior/rebuilder. I would have. Especially with all that money he got. But BP stuck it out, he's going to suffer through mediocrity this year in Miami, perhaps tarnishing his legacy a SLIGHT bit. But you have to respect him for doing the job he set out to do. Unlike other "franchise saviors" in Miami in recent years.
