Parcells Wants Bigger Linebackers...

If they trade JT as well, I am about done with this organization. We have enough cap room as it is. And Zach cleared up even more for us, so there is no reason to get rid of JT as well, who is still performing. He made the damn pro bowl again. And he has no help on the line.

I understand your sentiment but you are thinking with your heart rather than your head. There is nothing wrong with that unless you consider that JT may want a trade or accept one just so he doesn't have to go through this process again. The best thing we could for him is to trade him to someone who has a chance to make the playoffs. That is the best move for everyone involved.

I don't think JT is going anywhere...and how can you guys out there still be shocked about the Zach Thomas cut? Yes, I remember watching him from my first days as a fin fan as a little kid, but the man was out just about all last year. He's hittin his mid 30's and its' unknown whether he's fully recovered from those concussions/migraines (we all know how unpredictable they are). I saw this cut coming from a mile away.

I don't agree with being "dont with this organization", but I think not wanting to let JT go is thinking with half heart half brain. Making up a beating, wrinkly organ. Jason still has some game left in him, and is a big guy. Put him on the outside, and let him finish his career here. Just because we are rebuilding doesn't mean we need to get all new tools, some of the old ones still get the job done.

I respect Zach's heart, but when you start messing with concussions and permanent migranes you may want to think about retirement.

Then again if he does that the Patriots will surely sign him.

How could you not want to see Jason Taylor get a chance at a Super Bowl ring? The man deserves it, and it's certainly not going to happen in the remaining years of his contract with the Dolphins. Trading Jason Taylor might be the best thing to do for the team. Players leave, it's a business, just something we've got to accept.

this is retarded...

people said the same thing when Saban took over that Zach was too small... yes a 3-4 defense would like to have larger LBers because they tend to be more effective... but REGARDLESS of your size if you are effective you will play... thats it...

he was cut because of his age, salary and injury concerns...

Agreed....and if Taylor is traded....it will be for the same reasons.

taylor doesn't have injury concerns that i am aware of. the guy is like the cal ripken of football. he sits out some plays every now and again but never misses a game. come on brosuf.

I believe he has/had a foot injury....but anyone thats old enough will tell you, you don't get better with age.

Oh yeah he does. Anyone who thinks that a 34-35 year old player in this league doesn't have injury concerns is conerning. We just don't hear about them all of the time. Did anyone know Zach had as many concussions as he had until he admitted it? Just fodder, but everyone who is 34-35 in the NFL has injury concerns - watch him get out of bed.
