Just listening to Clyde on Periscope dealing with questions about Scott's promotion and while he didn't say it directly, the strong impression was Parker is likely out. "It'll be a last hour kind of thing" was what Clyde said about DVP. Sounds like it's a no-go. Doubt that it's smoke and mirrors.

This poor kid. Goes up and makes an awesome catch - that doesn't count - and gets injured to boot.

I had been playing him in fantasy the last couple weeks (Damn you refs), I've already sat him this week. Hope Caroo can make the most of this .

Yup he was laying himself out there all day.

Leonte Carroo gets a full week of practice as a starter.

Let's hope he shines.

#88 next man up.

We spent 3 draft picks on him, let's see what he's got.

In rugby, they've introduced laws that punish heavily a defender who takes out a player in the air, only when that defender clearly isn't contesting the ball. I think the NFL needs to strongly consider something similar.

I know this might lead to some on here decrying the de powered version of today's game compared to the 70s or whatever. But it's way too easy to take an opponent out of the game (and even affect their career) by hitting them in mid air. It's basically a crackback block situation, that common sense says is not part of a healthy competition for the football.

i dont think we win if dvp doesnt play, he completely changes our offense when hes out there. huge loss if he dont play.

It's a big loss. He's a guy that can win even when you devote your defense to stopping him. Without him, we're scheming to score through Jarvis, Stills and Sims in the pass game. Much harder.

2 tight end sets in the Base package?

There's no way around it, this is a huge blow to our offense. Just a different team with DVP out there.

But just one more obstacle to put in front of Us. We've won in a GW special teams play, Defensive play, on the legs of Ajayi, arm of Ryan, and without most our offensive line.
Might as well win 1 without our most talented receiver...

So now we should train defenders to let the guy go up catch it and wait until he lands before contact? Ya no thanks

I got the opposite vibe from Clyde...

He was asked since you brought up Scott are you expecting Devante not to play, he said "no, were hoping so" as he almost cut the question off..

They are just covering their ass, its the right thing to do. Especially since we had a sudden roster spot open from Orr.

I think DVP plays.
