It's a tough call, of all things, Parker was the furthest from being a project. Considering as he learned, what he did well was go up and fight for the ball, so you would think if it had not been for the injury, he would have played considerably, especially in the redzone, where height, size, and concentration mean far more then speed.

I really hope he can get through this, a player with skills (Height, Size, dependability, speed), aren't available every year.

Another lost week for Dolphins rookie DeVante Parker, who is on bike at practice in wake of scar tissue/foot issue.

So, did he stay off the field this much in college? Or is it only when he gets a big paycheck?

Relax guys. It isn't over for him. He started outnvery well and showed a lot of promise. He needs to rest up and get that foot strong again and he will do well. At least he isn't just sitting because he sucks.

I really doubt its his decision. Its a business and they invested a #1 pick on him. They plan on having him more than just this season....

The bad thing is look at the difference between Dion Jordan and Landry. Dion came in injured and never was able to dive into his NFL career. Landry dove in to NFL speeds and flourished. Jordan was playing catch up his whole time here. Parker is heading the same way. If these guys don't get involved quickly, they fizzle.
A question, are there any players in Miami history who have started their first season mostly injured and came back the next and balled out? Idk, I'm curious.

He has a clean slate next week so in my mind he shouldn't miss another week after this. If he does then the "bust" discussion will come out.

And not from busting from a talent standpoint but fron simply being injury prone..

The only people who label him a bust are those who didn't want him in the first place and remain bitter. It's certainly not based on any objective evidence.

Let's see how he plays when he's finally healthy before putting any labels on the guy.
