There were 17 on board. We've got 13 right here.

A veritible who's who.

Dante Culpepper, Bryant McKinnie, Darren Sharper, Fred Smoot, All Pro DT Kevin Williams, Mewelde Moore
tight end Jermaine Wiggins; running back Moe Williams; wide receivers Nate Burleson, Troy Williamson, Travis Taylor and Koren Robinson; cornerback Ralph Brown....

And it gets worse. 15 women were allegedly flown in from out of state to get down at this party. Authorities are investigating possible prostitution charges.

I am surprised to see that Moe Williams and Darren Sharper are on that list. I don't think anyone will get suspended, just A LOT of fines. And I do agree with cnc66, this incident will probably cost them their stadium.

can you imagine spending hundreds of millions on a team, planning all the while to get your investment back with a new stadium and have a group of your own players shoot it down. i'll bet he is furious.

i dont get it? what exactly did they do? and how is players personal lives gonna cost them the stadium?

well, the new owner has been trying to garner support for a publicly funded stadium. you can bet he has tried to convince those with the power how much of an asset the team is to the community, how much they give back. This will give their opponents a TON of ammo against the stadium.

Apparently a group of about twenty players hired hookers and had a very good time publically on two boats and someone ratted them out. I believe there were married men in this group.

Wilf got it to the point where he was asking the county for only the roads and utilities around the stadium, he was paying for everything else himself

Wow, :shakeno: I wonder if any of these players will be cut or traded after the season.

The Vikings are a complete trainwreck. It is looking like Randy Moss might have been the most "together" guy on the team.

Look at the names on that list. These are TEAM LEADERS. I'm not usually a guy who gives a rats *** about what players do off the field. As long as they don't break the law or hurt other people I'm all good with it.

This case is a joke though. Where is the leadership on this team? They are 1-3 and celebrating?

The hookers must be really ugly in Minny if they have to fly them in from out of state though...

He's hoping for the public to finance the infastructure for his stadium? They won't bite unless he shows this was an isolated incident.

You have this party, the whizzinator, McKinney beating his girlfriend (wife?).

You know the team has an issue when they sign Koren Robinson.

All that being said, the Vikings will pay dearly for this. This team is a constant underachiever. If I'm the owner I begin to slash and burn. Fire the front office, the coaches...everyone.

Thats what I couldent beleive. When I heard the news I assumed it was second string or bench guys that you could make an example of, but when you are talking about your qb (assuming the reports are true) as well as a bunch of other starters what do you do as a coach? You are 1-3, you cant bench them and you already said that you considered steping down, what the heck can you do to bring discipline and respect back to this team? I realy dont know. :shakeno: This whole thing is very bad for the NFL, I wonder if the league will/can end up suspending some/all of these guys.

Do any of you guys personally know a vikings fan? If you do, how do they feel about this whole thing and their organization as a whole?

We need to take a step back here. From what I read of this some of the players were out ofcontrol while others were trying to help people and stop the others. We will have to wait and see before we assume all of them were sleeping with hookers and involved in lewd behavior. Alot of these people have wives and kids, we need to give them teh benefit of the doubt.

Vikings Fan here...or should I say "former" Vikes fan?!? :yell:
I, along with many other Minnesotans, are completely embarrassed by our team. I, too, was hoping the ones who were on the boat were not the leaders of the team, but they ARE our team basically. It's so disappointing. I'd take Randy Moss back anyday - his problems were nothing compared to how this team has made complete fools out of themselves in the past months. I might have to consider being a Packers fan now. :french:

heres a question...how do we know that these women were prostitutes and not just groupies....i mean honest quesiton, is there proof or no?

also, what were they thinkin? why bring anyone else into this? they should of had people they knew driving the boat...their not the smartest.
