Looks like Fins coaching staff got caught drinking that coolaid.
To think that they would have a chance against R Moss in man coverage with Jason Allen? c'mon man!
Not sure why they decided to play so much man. The blitz never got to Cassel, after the first drive, Pasqualoni should have gone to a lot more zone with man-under to shut down the bubble screens and draws.
NE came in knowing what would work...Fins coaches didnt have a clue.
One pass downfield all day? no TE deep down the seams? No two TE formations? Just a bad game plan all the way around on O and D.
Fins are who we think they are...a 8-8 or 9-7 team at best, which is pretty good compared to last year.
Its a shame because the fins could have had a better chance playing zone and keeping everything underneath the coverage. Instead, they continue to give up the big plays down field.
Got outcoached.
