Did anyone else think that pass interference call on Goodman was BS? The ball was 10 yards over their heads!! Have the refs ever heard of an uncatchable ball? :fire: Looks like the refs haven't fixed their superbowl problems!! :tantrum:
 
well, we got away with one earlier, so they called us on one later. refs say they don't do that, but we all know they do.

Get over it homer, it was PI, we got away w/ Tillman's ... they got us on goodman's ... Jesus Christ. Freaking big homer's around here.

Look up the rules dumb***. If the ball is uncatchable, then no pass interference can apply. Granted, he did interfere with the reciever, but the penalty is null and void if the ball would not have been catchable without the interference. Even if there was no contact, the reciever would not have been able to catch up to the pass.

Their player was diving :rolleyes: you cant assume a guy is going to make the catch when he dives, not to mention his arms were in terrible position
 
I don't think the "PI" on Tillman was a catchable ball. The receiver was diving and the ball was like 5-yards ahead. He had no chance of making that play - great no call.

As for the Goodman play, that was definitely pass interference. Although Cedric Wilson grabbed a bit, the obvious comes when Goodman hooks arms with him. That is something you cannot do, whether incidental or not. The refs will always call that.
 
The reason the ball was uncatchable was Tillman held up their receiver, otherwise he might have gotten to the ball. It was PI alright, but Tillman was beat, he HAD to PI or it could have been a score.
