Clay should have made a play for Tannehill.
That's all on Tannehill and a perfect example of why he may never be a permanent starter in the NFL. At the end of the day though, Wallace needs to bail his qb out especially when the balls are catchable.
i dont think any wr can catch those passes tannehill throws to wallace come on guys.. take your tannehill shades off.
what someone who is paid top dollar wideout money and is supposed to be able to play his position? Lets be real. Average route tree at best and has poor ball awareness and doesnt fight for a catch. So other than playing mismatches and the occasional deep ball, has he lived up to much of anything? Now one cpuld say it isnt his fault and Miami is making him into something he isn't ala Hartline was a few seasons ago. However there is plenty of game tape in a phins uni to see that he isn't worth what they are paying him overall.
Plenty of tape in a Pitt uniform, says he was a pro bowl wr.

ask the pit fans what they said about him when he left. While some animosity clouds their vision, there was plenty of analysis that proves he is a complimentary wr and not a polished number 1. His deficiencies are glaring. So glaring you would have to be a homer not to see them. As I prefaced, there is a Tannehill factor here. I'm definitely not sold on him either.
Using your logic, Trent dilfer won a superbowl. Does that mean he was a bonafide number 1 qb?
Homer? No, I just accept what he does/doesn't do well. If used right, great things happen. When he is asked to do more, you get a **** show.
