OK, so it's the day before Christmas eve and I'm sat at work, VERY bored as not much is happening. Have been scrolling through pro football reference (www.pro-football-reference.com) and thought it would be interesting to compare passing numbers over the last 8 years. So here goes:

I've only taken the QB with the most starts so it doesn't cater for injuries.

2000, 11-5, Jay Fiedler, 57.1%, 2402 yards, 0 TO Diff, 74.5 QB RAT.
2001, 11-5, Jay Fiedler, 60.7%, 3290 yards, +1 TO Diff, 80.3 QB RAT.
2002, 9-7, Jay Fiedler, 61.3%, 2024 yards, +5 TO Diff, 85.2 QB RAT.
2003, 10-6, Jay Fiedler, 57.0%, 2138 yards, -2 TO Diff, 72.4 QB RAT.
2004, 4-12, AJ Feeley, 53.7%, 1893 yards, -4 TO Diff, 61.7 QB RAT.
2005, 9-7, Gus Frerotte, 52.0%, 2996 yards, +5 TO Diff, 71.9 QB RAT.
2006, 6-10, Joey Harrington, 57.5%, 2236 yards, -3 TO Diff, 68.2 QB RAT.
2007, 1-15, Cleo Lemon, 56.0%, 1773 yards, 0 TO Diff, 71.0 QB RAT.
2008, 10-5, Chad Pennington, 66.3%, 3218 yards, +8 TO Diff, 95.1 QB RAT.

I guess I'm telling you nothing you didn't already know but to see it in print is pretty beautiful; Chad Pennignton is the man. He leads every category other than yards and only needs 73 yards to surpass '01 Fiedler on Sunday to lead that too.
