I think you can get a pretty good player in the 3rd rd.
Just look at some of the guys that we have gotten over the years in that round.
Makes me feel a lot better about our draft chances.

Dick Anderson (1968)
RB Mercury Morris (1969)
CB Tim Foley (1970)
WR Nat Moore (1974)
WR Duriel Harris (1976)
RB Tony Nathan (1979)
RB Karim Abdul-Jabbar (1996)
DE Jason Taylor (1997)
LB Derrick Rodgers (1997)

and of course, Morlon Greenwood and Travis Minor :D

Yeah, but I don't know if Karim Abdul-Jabbar is a good thing.
He was for 1 year

Hey he was the first guy to crack the 1,000 yd mark for what 17 years?!? I was pretty glad we drafted him. I remember when he tore the Canes up when he was still at UCLA.

morlon greenwood was a second rounder dude!

Thats why we have no second this year ..it went to the fleagles!

Negative!!

Greenwood was a third rounder, but the 'Fins traded a second this year to get him in the third last year. :D

Let us not forget Larry Webster who we picked in the 3rd round :)

We have been pretty solid picking mi and late round talent. I am sure that we will get at least 2 maybe 3 valuable players through the draft. If you think about it, we have probably done worse with our #1 picks than we have with the late round picks. ;-)
