past their prime players

I got to thinking about all the players that have graced our uni's that at one time in their respective careers were perenial all-pro, but not at the point when we wre graced by them. Out of all the players that we have or have had on our team now, which would you have like to have had earlier in their careers, and why?

cris carter because it would have been magic to see him and marino work together imagine all those records....lol but thurman is another that is right up there..he was a good back in his day and outta marinos entire carrer he only had 1 1,000yd back just imagine what he could have done if the d actually had to respect the run.

I would pick mister Thurman.If i remember correctly we could have had Thurman.He freakin killed us guys.
We did have recivers so Carter wouldnt have helped as much as Thurman..

Imagine playing Buff in playoffs with the hard nosed Thurman running the ball.Marino throwing.



That would have been great.

Whatever happened to ole' Karim Abdul-Jabbar, or I guess it was Karim Abdul after the NBA player threatened suit? He had that 1,000+ rookie year then dropped off the face of the planet.

I think I remember him being a Brown, but his production dropped majorly, until he was released.

That was an easy choice...a rb with Marino would have been fantastic. Imagine having to worry about either Thomas running (or catching dump offs) and Marino's lazer rocket accurate arm ??

This is a no brainer. Thurman Thomas all the way. If Marino had Thomas during his prime, his hand would be covered with Super Bowl rings.
