Please people dont get to worked up over this signing. He is simply here to compete for the third string spot. He is a project that has a decent chance to progress over the years. But it will take him a couple of years to progress. The accuracy is awesome but how does a 300 pound D-lineman closing in affect that accuracy? I do think that he is a great value pick that has the potential to grab the third QB spot but I wont expect much else...
 
We got our third string QB. Now who is the starter Ireland?
 
For a UDFA QB - Ireland did the very best he could do and we still got our draft picks as of this moment

A couple of years happens much faster than you think my friend, the older you get the more you'll realize it.

Looks like the kid has some skillz... cant wait to see what he has to offer
 
I remember that several mocks had him as a mid round pick at one point, but his draft stock just collapsed with his performance in the Senior Bowl and combine.
 
IMO, this signing was the best news of the day and our "braintrusts" pursuing Marion Barber the worst.
