Pat Devlin

Might as well sign pat white and see what he can do too. devlin is not ready to be on a 53 man roster much less be a starting qb in the nfl geesh

Speaking of Devlin, Did I see him on the sideline, dressed, at one point?

i say why not the vikings might start ponder, we have to beat them at there own game to get luck

considering your opinions on the likes of Daunte Dulpecker and Orton, (if memory serves me, Brady Queen also, although I could be wrong on that one), may I suggest you include this handy dandy smiley on these type observations so we can distinguish them from fact :idk:.

Fact 32 teams in the NFl have decided not to put Pat Devlin on their 53 man roster.
Now that may change esp if Henne is really hurt but right now that is a fact.

Also yep wrong on culpepper but im sure u liked the Trent green pickup or even drafting Beck could be wrong also.
im also pretty sure u said ryan would not be good also could be wrong.
As for orton he is a good qb on a team with a much worse offense and defense than ours

I mean seriously people act like tom Brdy and Kurt warner just got picked up one week and started out of the blue.

I'll see that fact and raise you one:

Fact: while slugs like Tavaris, Donovan, Kerry Collins, an spotty untested Kolb, among others were signed, not a single team aside from the delusional Fins showed an iota of interest in your boy Orton. :idk:

Activate and start him next week - or the week after. Let's see what we got.

Plenty of time to determine if he's truly a diamond in the rough or just rough.

This has to be the dumbest solution to where the Fins are at this point.

I cant disagree but the fact is he is better than any of the qb's that were traded or signed for over him. I mean seriously u think kerry collins is better than him or Tavaris jackson

Not one team drafted ****ing Devlin. An iota of interest of drafting him

No we are just supposed to hand a guy a starting position that no team in the league that hasnt even made an NFL roster.

It would at least add a little more comic relief to games and at the same time all but lock up the #1 pick. Why not.

but he was monitored during the year by several teams including Bellichik's, so going into the season he was square on the radar. He prudently accepted our UFA offer over 2 or 3 others. He'd have been drafted had it not been for a terrible Senior game (I forget which one) and uncharacteristically coming late for his own ProD day. It's Karma that he fell in our laps.

Your leaving out the fact that we cut him and not one team picked him up including the ones that monitored him.
