I must say Devlin was money on that field last night, i was watching him closely through my binoculars, he made very quick decisions, decisive 3-5 step drops, snapped his head to the left or right very fast, his throws were hitting receivers in stride on every throw. The deep sideline throw to Chris Hogan was may i say Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning like, i know that may seem a stretch to some, but that Kid has it, I WAS VERY IMPRESSED with the Kid. I know he was playing third string defense, but he was also playing with scrubs on his side the ball too....stay tuned on Devlin, he has got some real Moxie in his game.

How can philbin not consider pat devlin he showed more than moore?

it seemed like Devlin was the only one that ran the fast pace offense that everyone was talking about.

Even though he played against 3rd stringers who in a few weeks will be out of football
it can't hurt to see what he has against 1st or 2nd teamers

He was also going against a prevent defense. Then he threw an interception. I am not that impressed.

Devlin had the one bad interception though fuller could have made a better play on the ball. Other Than that Devlin was the best Qb last night. I hope he an Hogan make it...

Hey this was a graphic I made half way through last season.. and I still stand by it.

[Wasn't Pat Devlin out there against Carolina's fifth stringers?]

Something to keep in mind.

Delvin was our best QB last night and that is very distrubing to me although the kid has some ability.

Might as well give him a shot. We are a 5-11 team at best and will be "rebuilding" again next year.

Hell, we ain´t going for the Lombardi, might as well test EVERYBODY fairly!!! In times like these, is where I don´t understand coaches that don´t give a fair and honest shot to some players, then thrive with another team...I suspect a good portion of our starters won´t even be here next season, might as well leave no stone unturned.

Well he clearly has improved with a year of training under his belt. He has way more arm strength then last year. He also doesn't look lost like during last year's preseason's game. With that being said he does have a chance to make the 53 man roster. I don't see how we keep broken Garrad with his lasted injury. I would move on and be completely satisfied with Devlin holding the clipboard. If he's cut he won't pass through waivers.

Devlin is not your starter...though I do believe he will end up being #2 after this season to Tannehill, and evetually be a tradeable commodity.,

Yeah I find it borderline insane that some people suggest giving him some reps with the 1s. Those people are clueless and have no business pro-creating.
