I was just sitting here at work thinking about the wildcat and how the fins are going to use pat white and it got me thinking that one of the reasons the wildcat worked so well is because teams didnt know when it was coming becasue we didnt have to substitute a "wildcat" player in the game ronnie and ricky are in the game together on other formations and rotating so that didnt give it away. well if pat white comes in the game isnt that going to give it away that the wildcat is coming? and the D could bring in a package designed to stop the wildcat. so do you think he will be in at WR a series or two just to throw them off or will he be in at qb a couple of series running the normal offense and then throw in the wildcat? your thoughts on how we will use him?

Having a multidimensional threat instead of the relatively lame duck Pennington involved in a wildcat play is worth letting the defense substitute.
That is why Pat White was drafted.

ohh ok so he just throws it if the D TRIES to crowd the line

white wont play this year. Maybe a few snaps in preseason or as a wide out were Chad lines up on the wildcat.
From what it looks like at the moment; He needs to find a couple more gears yet.

Unless you're associated with the team in some way, you have no idea what White will do.

I was thinking we really need to market the wildcat & pat white more, this will now be his game time uniform:

I dont really post but i am on Vacation in Florida and went to the Practice today at 2pm, first i want to say Pat White is a nice guy i met him after practice and got my hat signed.
Now down to business i did notice his agility which will make the wildcat fun but when he ran the base offense he did hold the ball to long and was not very accurate. Now im not saying he is bad but just having a bad day and needs to learn to pass first run second.
I dont think it matters if they know as long as we excecute the play right we should be fine. But i do see what you mean, i feel he will be in on situation but not when the game is on the line until he earns that. Ronnie will still be captain of the wildcat. My two cents.
