Pat White >>>>>>>>> Chad Henne | FinHeaven - Miami Dolphins Forums

Pat White >>>>>>>>> Chad Henne

why?

he was a better QB in college...

why does white see the field but henne is inactive.....

regardless of the fact he was emergency QB, wildcat yada yada

they trust him on the field... and they dont trust henne...

u think they use another high second on a QB if there sold on henne?

we are clearly not usin him as a wr...

is it not possible they see more in white then henne?

or at least as a plan B?

AS far as this year or next year , yea this thread is crazy, but they would of never drafted White if they never thought he could be a every down QB.

<-----You can see in my pic that Pat is not very "big" but he knows where to put his hands, so he must be a player' lol

He just needs time to learn the pro game and add about 20 to 25 pounds of good weight.

Better at what? Hitting Parcells golf cart?

Eric Crouch was a better college QB than Tom Brady....

Danny Werffeul was a better college QB than Brett Favre...

Tommy Frazier was a better college QB than Ben Roethlisberger...

Heath Shuler was a better college QB than Joe Montana....

Vince Young was a better college QB than Kurt Warner....

Charlie Ward is the best college quarterback I've ever seen.....

Point is ......there's this little thing called a "system" quarterback in college....that doesn't translate well to the next level....at least not at being a legitimate drop back pocket passer....which is what wins superbowls....

It's embarrassing to even admit that you would think Pat White being the game week 1 to run 3 gadget plays has anything to do with the depth chart.....seriously...

6-0....190 pound stick figures don't last long at quarterback in the NFL....that's why you don't see any....especially the one's that have trouble hitting the practice field with the football....

Pat White doesn't have the frame to add 20 pounds.....he's not a linebacker...

Pat White is an X-factor.....a play toy for these guys to experiment with in spread packages....

It's not happening....

they are both untested. if they choose to go young then they will start henne because he as the "most" experience. If he doesn't pan out then they will throw white in and see what he's got. and if he doesn't work then, well, thats the big question.

Pat White would have to spend more time lifting weights and popping supplements than learning how to play quarterback to pack on 20 more pounds....

I'm 6-0, 200 and boxed in the USMC for 8 years......I've sweated a time or two in the gym.... caterpiller....

After he learns to take the snap from under center....drop back....and have his deliver tweaked enough to where he can throw over the lineman in front of him......then we'll talk....

You can get away with being 6-0 tall playing from the shotgun in college with a low delivery......not from under center in the NFL....

Which is why you saw all his passes in the preseason off to the side and not in the middle of the field....

Henne..I just don't trust him at all yet. Pat White? If we ran QB runs, options, runs, fake handoff and run to other direction, deep passes, and screens.. I'd be happier than having Henne in all game at this point. Plus, we'd have more options in our run game which is what we should be focused on, especially with our pass blocking.

LOL, he could put on 20 pounds in two years easy, and he'd could also learn just like every other player coming into the nfl

If Pennington keeps doing his statue of limitations it wouldn't hurt to try White rolling out on options until the o-line & Henne get it together.

This right here should be obvious to everybody. Yet it is not.

Stupid to bring this subject up. Its only designed to lay questions and blame to something which was not any reason we lost the game.

We lost because of 4 turnovers. This isnt rocket science people.
