Pat White - Dont Slow Down The Progress

i disagree 100%. I just don't think this kid is going to make it as a QB i'm sorry. I think we need to make into a receiver or returner.
Henne has the better arm and mechanics. My opinion...
 
Why limit Henne's growth and not White?

You can't feed everyone at the table, someone has to go hungry
 
white was used correctly in the last game he just missed on his big play. not really surprised except to see a dolphin qb overthrow teddy on a deep route
 
People love to throw around some silly statements. Pat white redefining the qb position lol geesh. Yea no other qb could run and pass lol. How is that going for Vince Young and Mike Vick.

Pat White is not mike vick and not vince young...he doesnt have the same game as them.
 
That can be seen about every position. You cant judge success in the nfl or even talent off the size of a player...I assume thats the reason the pat white non believers feel he wont be succeed at this level. The reason why White is getting the nod over Henne is because White is a game changer or has the potential to change the game...Henne on the other hand is your standard drop back qb. In the offense you need both...Henne is not better than pennington...He isnt as accurate, and a lil un-predictable in the pocket...The only positive this henne has going for him is his size and his arm strength...Its a scary watching henne at times.

Potential game changer? Really? I'll use the argument I get about Henne. What has White shown this TC, Preseason and Game 1 that says your statement has any TRUTH to it? I'll tell ya, NOTHING.

I think Vick is better than White..even now I think hes better. Vick is faster..vick has a liver arm even after the bid...White has more potential at this stage though. Id rather have white than vick though. If we didnt have white I wouldnt mind vick...Who I really like is tebow at this position however.

Michael Vick had such an ego he thought he could get away with what he was doing because he was 'Vick'. Vince Young had this same ego built around the Texas tradition of worshiping their football players as gods. This is why Texas has one, if not the highest graduation rates of top football prospects in the country. Why not live as long as you can in the land where you are a supreme being, I know I would and I get that. Ego destroys man, Vick and Young are men. White has been nothing but we and team al throughout college. He is not of the same breed so a similar skill set has nothing to do with who he is or what he thinks he can get away with. Yeah I haven't posted in like a year and a half because of comments like this, but I have been lurking every day of that year and a half reading comments like this. Pat White is all team, whether he has it of not remains be seen, but he should in no way be lumped in with the egos of Vick and Young. I may very well be wrong, but White has proven for a descent period of time now that he is grounded, and attitude is what makes a man.
