His old coach said he use to run the 40 yard dash in 4.3 before he put on 20lbs of muscle.Then went on to say he never saw anyone catch him from behind.
 
Wow, isn't it obvious WHY so many around here think he sucks? I sure hope eating that crow tastes great -- cause the kid is going to light up some score boards.
 
He just looks faster then everyone on the field. I know the NFL has faster stronger players then College, but he has stick instincts with the ball in his hands.

Excited to watch him play, and Im excited to play with him in Madden :)
 
Pat White is a future Miami Dolphin superstar. The wildcat is practically designed for him and nobody does it better than us. You can line him up at QB/RB/WR, that dude is a football player. Carpenter needs cough up the 5 jersey for Mr White.

Unless Pat White plans on coughing up some money, etc. to Carpenter he will not be wearing the 5 jersey. Plus, he had it before White was drafted so I do not think Carpenter owes him anything or needs to give him his jersey. And yes I think White will be great as well.
 
He seems to be able to throw the ball and have his receivers stay in stride, I can't wait to see what we do with him.

Just an exciting game, two guys really battling it out with each other in Pat White and Hakeem Nicks, and hearing Pat and his coach talk about it in the end is kind of cool.

Being a USF fan, I was cheering against the Mountaineers more often than not...but I have to admit that the Pat White era of West Virginia football history had to be a fun time to be a Mountaineer fan.
 
Those rushing TD's are pretty amazing no question... He turns the corner FAST.

As a rusher he is definitely an elusive 'Make guys miss' style runner and the real question is what happens with the more contact he will face in the NFL... Can he break tackles and not just ankles..? Can he take the punishment? Good questions... But when you watch the kid there is reason to be excited.
 
Should be interesting to really see how the Pat White Project turns out. He adds the dimention of a darn good passer, to some sick speed and moves. You add some strength that we put into the O-Line this offseason and it really has the makings to be a very fun year. You make the LB's have to cover the TE's and RB's and give Pat the choice to throw it or pass it, that play should be really hard to stop.

HAHA, i put him in Madden the day we drafted him, but i had to change him from a lefty to righty.
