Rookie quarterback Pat White, who was knocked out of Sunday’s loss to Pittsburgh by a brutal hit along the sideline, is undergoing tests at the hospital and expected to be OK, according to a source familiar with the situation.
White was in the game because starter Chad Henne said he’d developed blurred vision after he landed on the left side of his head on a sack by Pittsburgh linebacker LaMarr Woodley.
Henne said he played several more plays, but the condition worsened when he got to the locker room at halftime and sat down.
“I was hoping it would clear up,” Henne said. “I just didn’t have (depth) perception on the ball. I was throwing fine on the sideline. I just couldn’t really visualize my throw.”
Henne said it will be treated as an eye injury and he’ll see an eye doctor Monday.
