While Ted Ginn Jr. had no catches Sunday and Greg Camarillo had two for 13 yards, it's clear this team goes nowhere until it finds some help at receiver. So in a desperate-times-call-for-desperate-measures idea, move Pat White there. At least in practice, line him up and see what he can do.

It can't be worse than what's going on out there. Besides, through three games White has done nothing at Wildcat. No, that's not much of a sample size. Yes, you'd be pulling the plug to some extent on his Wildcat impact as he grows more comfortable.

But the Dolphins played a defense without its best player (and pass rusher) in Shawne Merriman on Sunday and couldn't throw the ball. Receiving was an option for White out of college. He can't possibly learn the position on the fly like this. But maybe he could learn enough to stop some of the bleeding there.

As it is, there are no other options but go into each game knowing you can't trust your passing game.

Wait until they start playing good defenses, too.

Has he ever played a down at WR in his life? This is the NFL. Not as easy as some may think. Maybe here and there in certain wildcat packages but I do not see anything else.

Maybe just maybe the Trifecta could stop being CHEAP and go after a play maker! Turning White into a receiver solves nothing and is grasping at straws!

WR might be where White has to learn to make a living in the NFL. He lacks prototypical QB size.

Jeez, why are professional writer's so stupid? Look, people who have never played wide out at a high level should never ever have input on the wide receivers. Pat White can't just be moved to wideout. He will turn into a 5 year project then, learning to get off the jam, running routes, sinking his hips, etc. This isn't high school and David Hyde has just proved how terrible of a writer he is.
