did you guys see his 40 times yesterda at his pro days they were unreal.

Willis (6-1, 237 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.37 and 4.38. He also had a 4.37 short shuttle and 7.10 three-cone drill. He stood on his numbers from the Combine for the rest.

If he had played at Ohio State or was more of a name player before the season began, he would be talked about as a Top 10 pick. His numbers are just as impressive as A.J. Hawk's was last year.

A linbacker that runs a sub 4.4 forty!..Whoa!

If he has the toughness and ability to read the game he's gonna be special.

Remember this is a pro day. Almost every player runs significantly faster at their pro days than they do at the Combine, due to more favorable running surfaces and conditions. A linebacker running a sub 4.4 is impressive nonetheless, but take it with a grain of salt.

Plus hand held times make for some fast times

I will stick with the electronicly timed 40

Being able to diagnose plays quickly is one of Willis' strengths.

holy crap! The guy not only has great instincts, he has great speed. That is unreal. I would say he is very underrated at this point based on talking heads.

When a guy can simply play football and hit people, you dont take it with a grain of salt. It actually means something. I understand your point though.

I said it before and I'll say it again...

Pat Willis is a stud in the making and the perfect replacement for one Zach Thomas...too bad we probably don't have the luxury of taking another linebacker after the Porter deal.

the guy is a player we cant take him at 9 but he will be a very good player in this league he probably goin to san francisco

Lets just hope NE doesn't get him too....we won't be taking any LB's on day one if at all tho.

Ozzy rules!!
