I didn’t know that this was a post for everyone to cry and complain. Six months ago Saban was the second coming, now everyone wants to hang him. :shakeno:



I have been a fan for the last thirty years and I was not expecting much this year, so I am happy if just play a good game. When we win that’s just an added bonus. The team is going in the right direction so everyone just needs to relax. You guys are starting to sound like Jets fan or much worse Bills fan. I would say Raider fan, but I will not go that far.

Im with you, there are some real sad fans on this site. People that bash their team should go find a new team. Bashing your own team just makes the other teams in division fans look better for agreeing with them. It is quite pathetic

Be careful of using the word "everyone" when you slam the fans who post on this board, its a generalization that is almost never accurate.

At worst its 50/50 of the fans who are doing what you suggested.

I certainly am not and I know several other intelligent posters on this board are not as well.

So you're saying that Saban is above criticism?? That doesn't mean we want to fire him. It's just that there are certain decisions he's made that are "suspect." He's done some good things as well. I just love whenever someone criticizes a coach that makes them pathetic!!
 
It's tough when a team goes from being above average for 30 years to what they are now. I'm trying to be patient with a new Coach, a lot of young players, and others basically serving as roster filler. We live in a world of instant gratification, so we want results now. When we don't get it, we look to pass blame on the man responsible, Nick Saban. I'm giving him a chance to become a great NFL coach...if we go 6-10 this year, that's one game better than Belichick in his first season.

You can tell that you'rre a long time fan by your post. This franchise has a proud history, unfortunately most of the younger fans can't remember Shula on the sideline and the integrity he brought the team. We will be contenders under Saban.

Hype only goes so far...when the rubber meets the road, hype goes out the window.
I am still waiting on Saban to stop crying the "poor me's" and at least coach a good game!! When is it going to happen? Was the Denver game a damn dream??
Allowing Linehan to ruin this team's chances is just ridiculous IMO.
 
I believe it is every fans right to give criticsm to their team. I dont bash my Dolphins but I will give an opinion. We didnt play a good game yesterday, mabey decent but we made Big mistakes on O on D and on Special teams. We wont return to the Glory days until we can make the Big plays when we need them. Last I do agree with some on here that th OC and Saban are making so pretty bad calls in the RED ZONE.

Well said!! I've been a fan for 35 years and to see this franchise in the state that it was in last season was extremely frustrating. To watch this team play with no emotion was dismal. I do see some energy and spark out of this years team that we havn't seen for a while. I credit Saban for that. Saban can game plan and prepare for each weeks opponent, but its up to the players to execute. Penalties, dropped balls, ill advised throws, and fumbles are on the players. Shula's teams just didn't make those sloppy mistakes on a regular basis. Saban will get these players to execute. Ronnie hasn't fumbled and progressively has run the ball better each week since that fiasco in Buffalo. The line improves each week. The defensive front seven continues to improve. This is a work in progress, we all need to be patient.
