We had a lot of people that did not want Fisher because he only had 6 winning seasons, etc. Then he chooses the Rams because of more power and a future quarterback (which we all expected originally). We allowed the dumb @ss media to convince us things had changed but it didn't. Now that this is done all of the posts began about us losing him because of our crappy owner / GM. During this process, there were numerous posts supporting every one of these other candidates that now may actually become our next head coach. Now there are posts as to why we hate them. Philibin was one everyone seemed to be excited about originally and now the 'posters' seem to be 50/50 on him. There were also numerous posts about keeping Bowles around. Maybe people here just like creating posts so they figure out a reason to create one and speak on what their opinion is of these people which is fine....But what sucks are the numerous contradictions and idiotic comments about parts of the ownership that none of us have a clue about.

I agree that it doesn't look good for 2 years in a row we did not land our "1st choice / high profile head coach"...but this is just a perception. Here is my great news flash for those on the Finheaven site...NONE OF US (including the media) HAS ANY REAL CLUE ABOUT THE DECISIONS MADE BY OUR OWNER AND/OR GM. We might not get our guy all the time...But I can at least assume there are many factors which lead to the reasoning other than we have idiots in the front office. If we didn't choose Zimmer maybe it's because he interviewed with his zipper down and used profanity with racial undertones...I don't know because I wasn't there. Ross is a millionaire....are you? I'm not so he must be fairly smart. When we get our guy, I am sure there will be many complaints on here all of which will go away if we make the playoffs next year. I would like to remind people also that we landed Jimmy Johnson, Bill Parcells and Nick Saban....all of which are high profile coaches that did not stick around and finish the job. No matter who we pick, they have not been head coaches before nor do we have any idea how well they are going to do. Let's just wait for the pick, see his choices as coordinators and let the F'ing guy earn or lose our respect....which by the way should only come from wins and losses.
 
Yes, let him earn our respect. He should begin with NONE. It has been 39 years since the Dolphins won the Superbowl last. We are a patient fanbase.

Were in a continuous circle of inefficiency. Is this process Ireland is putting this organization efficient ?
Another meeting for Bowles, ahhh think we need more time to figure out what we have here, christ he's already been working for the team for atleast a season....Oh maybe Ireland wants to find out how far Bowles is willing to bend over for him.........
Almost every time there is an opportunity for real growth and excitement they build it up and in the end it fizzles down to were we get shot down and disappointed and end up with sugar coated excuses....then comes the next line of krap another load of BS from Mr Ross and how he's going to be aggressive and get things turned around......ya right Mr Ross, sorry can't bend over any further anymore more....

whats that saying "Fool me once you bad" fool me 2-3-4-100 my responsibility....

Love the Bennie Hill theme song to be our fight song...........

How can you form such strong opinions on something you know nothing about. Are you at the interviews? Do you talk to Ross? Ireland?Bowles?

The Bowles interview in my opinion is very shrewd.
Interview Philbin first and ask him if he will keep Bowles as a DC.
Same question to McCoy.

Then when you interview Bowles third. Interview him and then offer him the DC spot with a raise to maintain continuity. This way no one else steals him from you.

No I haven't talked to Ross but have seen his ineptitude and listen to his BS for a couple of years now.

My opinion is not only based on this one, many can consider inefficient process we see unfolding right before us, but is formed by the lack of judgment and efficiency we've experienced through this whole FO's over the period of time they've been in charge. Simply put, way to many missed opportunities and lack of good judgment and ability to get what they go after....If you don't see it I have no idea how I can explain it any clearer than what the last few years have exposed..and guess you also will need another year or 2 or 3 to wake up to whats been going on now for some time.

Honestly I don't know squat about who the best HC would be, I just know if there is a way to screw it up we will probably do it, and IMO we shouldn't even been looking at this replacement now but rather a year or two ago and now should be evaluating what we'd had chosen a year or two ago....
This stuff were seeing now isn't anything new it's just the same ole dog chasing it's tail....
love to get to see a playoff game in my life time, but by the time these clowns figure out anything I doubt even our great grand children would have that experience
 
three years ago we we're suppose to be patient as well. how did that turn out? When Saban was here... Man, that was exciting. I'll be patient... He'll get this thing turned around. How did that turn out? Cam Cameron? I wish I took a year long nap. Point is... You can be patient all you want. I'm frustrated and I have every right to be as do you.

My point on patience is to actually give the new guy (whoever he is) the chance to win or lose a game. We have hired big names and no names and they have all not gotten the job done for us since Shula. I wasn't asking for 3 years, I was asking for the end of the next season. I agree with the comment on Ross being business smart and not football smart....I guess my point to that post is are you either? What makes you, or any of us, qulaified to be more football smart than Mr. Ross other than the fact that we are good fans that are sick of losing.

I am frustrated too, pleas don't misunderstand that...I just don't think I know enough about any of these coaches or the decisions they make to criticize them until after the fact. I remember how excited people were on here about Saban...I even remember people on here supporting Culpepper over Brees...How did that work out for us? WE HAVE NO IDEA!
