Patience and perspective

Why can't we trade with Minnesota for Blackmon?

I disagree, we got rid of our best player, and remember, Moore was probably our best QB throwing to him.

Brandon Marshall was our best offensive player and he made the Pro-Bowl and shined there.

This by far topped the inexplicable Wes Welker trade.

As I see it, the Dolphins are off to a big "F" during the free agency/trade period.

Name a great 3rd rounder draft pick player, other than Drew Brees, a player we could have drafted in the 3rd who turned out to be great and the odds.

I seriously wonder when all this nonsense will ever stop with this team.

Ever since the organization dumped on Dan Marino, its been one disaster after the other, with Coaching staffs and plays.

Marshall is addition by subtraction. So was Sparano. No one in power with this team is going to allow us to go through the season with just Hartline and Bess. There is a plan, we just don't know it. Boo me if we do start the season with those two at top receiver, that's fine, but it's the first day of FA. Let 'em work..

I don't think wide receivers like Marshall "come out in bunches", but at the same time I don't think our team is an elite receiver away from winning a superbowl....

Trading Marshall now while he still has decent value might not be a bad move. Depending on who we select with the 3'rd rounders, it could turn out to be a great move getting value out of the guy while he still had some... In a couple of years when Marshall is 29-30, he won't be worth more than a 4'th rounder.... Why hold on to him for 2 more years just to go 7-9 or 8-8 ?

"Shined in the Pro Bowl?" Really? You want to credit him for a fake game where players admittedly play half-assed? Also, what Superstar Receiver drops td('s) in the endzone?

I liked Marshall too but let us not forget that he, himself, was drafted in the FOURTH round.

We're not an elite receiver away from winning a Superbowl. We were an elite QB away from being contenders though. You certainly can't lure Manning, or maybe even Flynn to Miami without some type of #1 target. Maybe getting rid of Marshall releases some tension between the staff and Marshall, but in the end it's just making another unecessary hole.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to getting rid of Marshall at all - but I want something in return. I think Marshall + a few picks, would have been great tradebait to St. Louis to get RGIII. Then we could have focused on getting one of many (now unavailable) receivers in free agency.

Now it seems our options at WR, as well as QB, are all but gone.

Didn't you say Manning was going to sign in Miami?

The way I see it, our genius GM just opened up another huge hole on a team with too many to address in one off season as it is, and he got nothing in return for this play. Idiotic, inept, thoughtless, atrocious, there's not enough adjectives, **** this franchise.

the way I see it, our GM is actually listening to his new HC and what he wants and is doing his best to make it happen. But apparently we are doomed with 6 hours already into FA. OMFG! u kidding me?

Apparently, based on the great organizational minds in our front office

I'm in the minority, we traded for a current and future 3rd down picks.

I'm the idiot....

Pro-Bowl selections aren't real.
