He was on New England in the Pre-season then was traded to Steelers and then got cut and is now a Dolphin....what do we know about this guy????
Should we think he can help us with Ronnie Brown being out???

Morris and minor will be fine. Jacksonville isn't going to give up many yards running anyway. This is a game for harrington to just manage the ball with short passes and run to keep them honest.

Why does nobody have any confidence in Morris and Minor?

If Cobb was really better than Minor or Morris, he's be on the roster ahead of those guys.

Not necessarily. Morris and Minor are both outstanding special teams players. And that's more important to have with a healthy Ronnie Brown. With Ronnie out hurt, Cobbs could see some action.

That's true, I really knew that,
I haven't had my morning coffee yet:D

I have confidence in both of them, they are good football players. Morris has averaged 3.9 YPC over his career in spot situations. I think with more carries he will be even better. Minor has always been dependable as a fill in and third down back, averaging 4.1 YPC over his career with the phins. They are both good blockers and have good hands. I believe a fresh Morris will actually be a plus vs. the Jags because Brown has been playing knicked up and has looked kind of slow the last couple weeks.

I think the Dolphins gameplan will be to pound Morris and Minor at the Jags to keep their OL off of Joey and to keep the ball away from Garrard and their speedy offense as much as possible.

Miami has never had any luck just throwing somebody in for a game or 2 like other teams throw in unknowns for a short stretch when their starter goes down. It seems like other teams get 125+ yards doing this and Miami will always just get less than 40 yards out of whomever.

cobb is good but he prollyt dosent know are system as much and so we are better off with morris and minor

I have a lot of confidence in Morris the only thing that scares me about him is that he fumbles way to much but other then that he does a good job.

My brother is a Bengals fan, so I watched at least one of their preseason games this year. I remember being pretty impressed with Cobbs, though I can't remember exactly why. If Ronnie is out for an extended time, he will probably see some action. Until then, I expect we'll see Morris/Minor (who know the playbook) to carry the load.

I'm guessing that the reason that we cut Suggs was the faith in Cobbs as a runner. I can't believe that Saban had a strong conviction in either Minor or Morris as a fulltime starter should Ronnie miss more than a game or two.
