--Note these numbers, for some reason, are not total. StatsInc doesnt have it all brokn down, 115 of 149 are included, dont know why, but Im sure the effct is the same with those in there too.

Not only do we run best to the left, but we run there much more often than we run right. Notable that for the most part, up the middle numbers are usually a lot lower than left or right, because short yardage against a stacked D usually go there, so those up the middle #s are better than they may look.
Also of interest:
Faulk is doing the best running up the gut, 15-62, 4.1 while Smith is 15-39 2.6. Also Faulk runs roughly 37% of the time up the middle, while Smith runs 31% up the middle. Smith is the only back with better numbers to the right (10-42). Of Clouds 16 carries and 96 yards, 14 for 92 register on this, and 10 of them, for 74 yards were running left.

Faulk is getting over 60% of his carries on first down, and more 1st down runs (and more effectively) than Smith.
...they like to run on 1st with Faulk on the field, and throw on first, and run after an incomplete with Smith.
Brady has thrown 70 times, plus 4 sacks on 1st down, so we are now a team that runs more than it passes on 1st down.
