FYI

Unless our coaches pull their heads out of their ***** it will be ugly on Sunday.

I'll be there cheering our players on and booing our coaches.

21-1

what stat is that? I cant think of how they are 21-1 in anything.

After the Patriots lose a game, the next game they are 21-1. They have only followed a game loss with another loss once in 22 games.

The Pats are a totally different team from the one they were from 2001 to 2007.....and they didn't impress me much against the Saints. Our coaches need to watch what the Saints did and use a similar strategy.....don't allow Welker and Moss to beat you. I think that is the key when we are on defense. Also, the Pat's d-backs looked horrible on Sunday, so why not allow Henne to open it up a little and go deep??? Send Ginn, Camarillo, Hartline and Bess downfield and fire away.....time to take the training wheels off of Henne.

ok, gotcha,

I thought you ment that after they lost a game in 2001. They have won 21 straight.

The Pats O is very good, but their D is their achillies heel. This D is now where near as good as the ones that won three Super Bowls in the last decade.

I like our chances of putting up about 24 points, but the question will be if our D can hold them to less than 20 or so.

Our coaches won't use the strategy the Saints used. It won't happen. They are going to use the same plan they have used all year. Ground running game with the rest, short throws and a couple deep balls. Also thow in some wildcat and a run by Pat White or two.

And you better believe our corners will be one on one and will play great for rookies, but will get burned several times for deeps plays.

They will have 20 points by the first half.

The sad part is the Saints grabbed two guys off the street and put them in their defensive backfield and they totally shut down Moss and Welker. Why can't the Phins find players like this?? I would keep one guy on Welker the whole game and hammer the midget on his little 5 yard catches. I don't know if Sean Smith can stay with Moss the entire game but he has the size to go up for jump balls.....have him on Moss all day. We also have to put pressure on Brady....blitz all day long. If we can win this, we can still win the division. :woot:

The Saints showed that if you keep Brady under pressure he's going to make mistakes.

If we allow him to stand back there like we did in the first meeting. We could be in for a long day.

McCallister and McKenzie are hardly "guys off the street". Both would be playing in the NFL if they didn't have injuries last year and demand a lot of $$$. Make no mistake, they are veterans and know how to play ball.

I was going to post the same exact statement :hump:
