I can’t go that far...I will say biggest September game for Miami in this century.
I feel like this team has potential to actually make some noise....a win in New England...shoving a dagger in that Dynasties heart would be amazing.
We've had dozen's of big games in the past say 20 years. When was the last one this big in september?
To set the typical division leader 3 1/2 games back.....it gets no bigger.
I dont think it's sinking in that if the Pats lose they wont be able to sling those 3 and 4 game win streaks to save themselves......they dont have the juice IMO.
Miami is so much in the driver seat.
Don’t agree...Patriots haven’t lost 3 games in a row since The Brady era began...Brady is 41 years old and Miami taking them down would put them at 1-3...historically only a 12% chance of rebounding and making the playoffs.
They are at home...and a loss would put them in the worst place they have been during this dynasty.

Don’t run from it. It’s not December or a playoff game. But- but good Lord is this a big one.

Exactly... this is a statement game...if we lose it just means the war is on...if we win I think it is huge!
NE is a paper tiger. I do not see them roaring back this week like everyone else. They may end up winning the game but we're the better team. If the refs hand them the game there's not much we can do except get angry. If BB or Brady has figured out some way to cheat there's not a lot we can do. But, other than some absolute bull crap that takes it away from us, we win. I see a tight first half, whoever wins the coin flip will defer. I hope we come out on offense and blow the doors off NE. Lately, when we defer the other team marches the field for a score. We can't kick to NE and let them get up on us. Matt Patricia showed a lot of tape on how to slow down NE. We have more talent and speed on defense than Detroit, thus, we should be able to copy what was successful for Detroit. It looked like they played some 3 man rushes and 8 back in coverage. Gronk was not getting a clean release off of the LOS and he was doubled most of what I saw. Wild card is Gordon and it would be classic Dolphin bad luck for Gordon to be the difference in the game with a bust out performance. This is not that hard luck team. Gordon trots out there we put the X Factor on his ***, end of story. This will be one of those tight, crazy games that comes down to the very end. BUT, Miami will WIN today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 23-20 Dolphins

I’ll never understand the philosophy that says any game in the NFL isn’t important. The schedule is 16 games. Every single game is huge. This is a division game that could determine everything at the end of the season. Doesn’t matter if it’s September or December, this game is massive.
