John Tomase, of the Boston Herald, reports the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/24/nfl">New England Patriots could release LB Chad Brown.
 
I forgot they had him too. They were so loaded at LB it's ridiculous. Good to see they are finally thinning out.
 
I'd rather restructure Seau to a contract of the same size
 
If he's cheap we should be interested. Maybe a one or two year deal. I'd much rather go after Arrington though. But Brown wouldn't be a terrible backup plan.
 
We cut our 37 year old LB Seau (expected cut I should say) and pick up a 35 year old LB Brown? Our defense is finally getting younger!:rolleyes2
