the patriots draft is sick, its something you would do in madden. They get 4 second round picks this year, and 2 more second round picks next year. its just unreal.

Yeah BUT.....you keep passing down for extra picks, which means you pass on great players. I'd rather have one great player than two average players Yes, maybe it lets Bellichick look at more guys but you can only keep 53 players. I don't think it's the smartest strategy.

They had the draft that we should have had!!! URGGGGGG A Saftey, DT, CB and WR in the 2nd and 3rd round!!!!!

They are the Evil Empire lead by Mephistopheles, Bezzlebubb incarnated as a HC and the owner who sold his soul a long time ago. What less to expect? They can go back to H8())) as far as I am concerned.

He has the talent level on his football team to do it. He's very smart, he's not happy with the talent level in the first round this year, so why pay a player first round money, who may not even crack your starting lineup this year when you can trade down, pay less, add a few quality depth players, and stockpile picks for next year which is hoped to be a stronger draft. Hate them or not, they are great at building and maintaining their team, and you've got to think they are a superbowl competing team this year assuming brady returns to form...

We'll be ready for them.

Hey, the Draft is like Christmas Day.

Can I just enjoy my Christmas without mention of the goddamn Patriots?

Yea, probably not the smartest strategy. I mean.....it hasn't worked that well for him over the last 7 years or so, why would it start working now? :foundout:

Don't forget, the 3 other AFC East teams had struggling FO's, while NE remained consistent with their management. That's why NE was so dominate. We sucked because we've had terrible coaching. That 1-15 season should have been more like a 7-9 season, but Cameron's coaching lost us more games.

shouldnt this thread be in the bests of the AFC east area?

Pats ended up w/ Brace who will net them a starter after next year, along w/ another 2nd round choice once Wilfork leaves via FA. Tate will be solid in their system.
They made the moves necessary, while filling holes with quality depth.
