Patriots HC Bill Belichick’s 2015 scouting report on then-Jaguars DE Jared Odrick

Truth be told I think he returns to Miami . . . unless something behind the scenes with him and Mike T. happened in 2015 that caused irreparable friction. They seemed real cool though even if Mike went big fish hunting with Suh at the time.

He also has a pretty rough injury history though, but I just think its a product of the NFL more than anything else . . . a lot of these guys are banged up and unless you are drafting guys you can expect to see a lot of damaged goods. Not many multiple 16 game starters available out there.

He gives you such a versatile piece on the defensive line . . . and he and Cam Wake were real cool off the field.

In fairness to Bill, when you have a top 5 pass rusher, a top 5 DT and the #3 overall pick . . . you are expecting that to be damn good reasoning to make a guy expendable.
