From John Clayton's report:

The Patriots continue to have major injury questions heading into Sunday's crucial game against the Dolphins. Missing the open media portion of practice at the beginning of Thursday's workout were defensive tackle Richard Seymour, defensive end Ty Warren, cornerback Randall Gay, halfback Patrick Pass, tight end Daniel Graham and tackle Tom Ashworth. Gay's absence is critical because the Patriots have only seven defensive backs on the roster. The unit is so thin that Gay is playing between safety and cornerback. The Patriots have put five defensive backs on injured reserve this year, and four of the remaining seven are either rookies or veterans plucked from the street after the start of the season. Seymour's loss continues to keep the Patriots in a 3-4 defense that continues to struggle against the run.

Everyone is down on the Pats because of all these injuries. So I have to ask, are they going to be the same old, always find a way to win, dominant Pats next year when they are healthy again? Or is this them "fading" for a while from the upper-echelon of the NFL?

Brady is only 28.

I've always been for beating a team because we're better.(all the best on the field) But after this year and last, I'll take what we can get if we can get the W.

Randall Gay missed practice?? I just heard Duane Starks is out for the season... we might actually win this game.......................... if we PASS. :mirror:

The Patriots run D has been horrible this year. My concern is if our defense can hold Brady & Dillon down.

Yep, we can't afford to give up anymore 90+ yard drives which also involve multiple 3rd down conversions.

I want to see Crowder lay the same hit on Dillon he did on the griffin

I think we can contain their running, but Brady scares the hell out of me. He is as good as advertised, and that of courseplays to our biggest weakness: the secondary.
