:DBig props to NE. This team plays with as much heart as any team I've ever witnessed.

Jets probably would have never beat them if wasn't for injuries to Brady, Harrison, Thomas, Warren, Maroney.

I'm just glad I don't have to endure 10 days of reliving this game if it was a loss.

NE is probably still in the playoff race, and BB is still a scumbag.

So Patriot fans: You should be proud of the effort your team put in!

Now, please kill yourselves. :D

I disagree with that statement.I don't believe that the losses of Brady or Harrison had ANY effect on the outcome of this game.It would be hard for anyone to say Brady would have put up better numbers than Cassel did tonight. He passed for over 400 yards and ran for another 65 with 3 TD's!!!If anything he gave NE* an added dimension with his scrambling ability that the Jets wouldn't have had to deal with from Brady.

Harrison is just a nothing who is a cheap shot artist. His career has been over for some time.He just lives on the occasional cheap shot or jumping on the pile on a tackle trying to knock the ball loose.

The loss of Warren and Thomas were defnitely losses, but we also don't have David Harris, our leading tackler either. This game was even going in and we won.No excuses, isn't that what our Patsie* friends are always telling us???:up:

Dont fool yourself. The Pats would of most definitley of won if Brady and company were in the game.

BUT that is all speculation and injuries are part of the game.

With that being said, Leon Washington is an absolute stud for you guys.

absolutely not. the Pats were missing Brady. granted, they did so for all of the year, but you don't play without the best QB in the league and don't notice a difference. Cassel played great, actually he has been playing so well lately that i'm sincerely worried about facing him in 10 days. but Brady is still another dimension. he doesn't run as well as Cassel, but he's years ahead in every other aspect of the game.

I think the bigger lose was ty warren for the game and AD. for the first half the defence looked a bit lost and finding its feet . I think losing 2 big players in the front 7 did take a while to get used to.Also, usually you hardly see wright and green in the first quater. they come in the 4th to freshen up the DL .now with ty down they wright started which greatly effected the pass rush in the 4th when they wore down.

also keller catchs in the middle was mainly due to 2 rookie ILB. guyton looked a bit confused in coverage as suddenly he was asked to do more stuff
which AD did.i know it will be a fight from now but i cannot wait for these rookies to develop a bit more.the starting defence has 4 rookies all under 23.

Both teams fought each other hard and the game could of went either way. Enough of the excuses good teams find a way to win and bad teams find a way to lose. Give the jets their due props they found a way to win. Give the Pats props they almost overcame obversities and stole that game back from the Jets. Its just too bad that the Pats are going have to endure back to back divisonal losses after they come into miami in 10 days. And the poor Jets are going to be left holding onto to first place till week 17 when we will go ahead and take that burden off their hands for them.

Hope the Dolphins beat the Pats but i'd be worried with BB having 10 days to game plan against you Good luck

The Jets putting up 34 points hurts. Don't think they would of won with Brady either. Love how the Jets have been getting beat by the Pats year in and year out when the Jets had tons of injuries Pats fans say no excuse, now they make up excuses because of their injuries. Hypocrites.......

Either way I felt like our team should of blown this team out. They made it closer than it should of been. Jets are clearly the better team this year.Have things we need to work out with coverage, our DBs look lost besides Revis and Rhodes.

Once we get David Harris back in a week our defense will really get going.

It isn't Patriot fans talking about the injuries. It was a fin fan. Very few of the Patriot fans are crying about the injuries because unlike jet fans they understand that it is just the nature of the game..
However for you to say that Brady would not have made a difference is just idiotic. One of the most acurate passers in the history of the NFL would have definitely made a difference. Moss would have caught at least 2 TDs the Patriots would have scored about 6 TDs and the jets would not have been in that game.

Its kind of like watching Hitler and Stalin beat each other senseless.

Interesting, funny and a little morbid but you cannot quite figure out which side to cheer for

He needs to be signed long term at the end of the year not sure where the jets are getting the cap room

Dustin is starting to show why he was a first round pick
