Patriots signed CB Leigh Bodden to a 1 year/$750,000 contract

guess the market was not exactly booming for the guy huh?
maybe everyone knows something fans on a forum dont

I think with this shows that the dolphins will be drafting a corner in the 1st or 2nd round. The dolphins obviously were not seriously interested in him if he took the league veteran minimum. We need a corner so the last place to get one is the draft.
 
Seriously, I can't believe we wouldn't offer him a contract. The guy is better than most of our corners if not all right now. Money obviously wasn't the issue with him so.....? What talent, i think not. Attitude, never heard of any problems in the locker room. I think we @#$%ed this one up. Especially when I hear we're having negotiations with Green.
Sorry had to vent. Oh and I know someone on hear is going to say something like they know what they're doing. Of course they do but still I don't like this move.
 
and we could not give him a better contract than that, what the hell is the FO up to

Im sorry but by the look of that contract there is something defitnetly wrong with Bodden. Shows the guy had no market what so ever.

I am thinking there is more to this then has been let out. Its shocking he only got league minimum.
 
Maybe there are some easy to obtain lucrative incentives that haven't been reported yet.

If this is his real contract, I really can't understand why we wouldn't sign him to a similar or slightly more expensive contract. I mean, even 1-1.5M/yr for a corner of his caliber would be a steal. I just don't get what's going on...
