Patriots' staff sizes up Fins

Its funny how the the media is in love with anything Patriots (especially Belicheat) ... Belicheat praises us and realizes that we are a good opponent, and even still the media continues to disrespect us. The carousel continues lol

have a consistent winner like the patriots u get respect, have a decade of being mostly out of the playoffs and u get no respect its that simple. We were not a good opponent last year they blew us out twice

I fgured he would just say we were a team that could beat him in a lot of different ways. That's pretty much what he always says.

He'll get a taste of B-Marsh soon enough. Let's hope Daboll and Henne can get him in the end zone this year.

Belicheat praises every team he goes up against......we got our work cut out for this week......I think this Miami team is up for the challenge.....only way to keep them from laughing at us is to go out and kick some ***

all i have to say is... not one person knows what we are going to do. I expect some wildcat, with charles clay and daniel thomas running the play but thats about it. I dont know if were going to run spread, i-formation, single back.. I expect alot of motions out of the backfield, and alot of brandon marshall and bess in slot.. thats the only thing new

I laughed at Tom Jackson laughing at us. So I could laugh at his laugh. Where's xzibit?

I am really excited to find out if Henne truly has improved, and this game will help answer that question. Chad Henne QB rating was 13 points higher than any preseason before. He looked decisive, he moved in the pocket, and he quickly delivered the ball to an open receiver.

BB also pumps how Buffalo is such a tough divisional opponent every time we play them too. We've beat them what 17 times in a row. Obviously Miami is much better then Buffalo, just don't believe anything BB says

We dont , we know Bill is a liar and a cheat.

The fact that football media are mentioning Crowder in conversations about who is going to matter in our next game completely proves why you shouldn't put too much weight on anything they say. Noone is paying any real attention because of the Orton, Harbaugh, Favre nonsense, that is all they really have on their minds about us. I like it!! Don't pay attention, let teams just underestimate us.......and watch Gates blast into the secondary before they know what hit em!!

Funny how BB mentions that he is uncomfortable because he doesn't know what the Dolphins are going to do before the game. He must really miss video taping

Might what to really read what you post before you actually post it...how does that makes any sense? Its the first game of the season, Miami has a new system with a few new players. He doesnt have game tape because its the first game.

nice try? Stop making excuses, BB has been far and away the best coach the past decade +

And Barry Bonds is the best Home run hitter ever. Cheating helps.

Wow, touched a nerve there? Lol

He is talking about how tough it will be because he doesn't know what they will do beforehand, ironic no?

BB has been very successful in the last ten years, no doubt.

But the fact is he Never won it before video-taping, hasn't won it since he was caught

Belichick and his boy O'Brien are masters of the art of saying something without really saying anything at all.

The only chink in the armor I found was about Cameron Wake and moving him all over the place. What he said sounds nice but I don't know if it's accurate. I've found Cameron's usage actually to be a bit formulaic, owing to the fact that when push comes to shove his most comfortable side is the left side of the defense, and his most comfortable position is with his hands in the dirt. Last year they used to have this weird sort of thing where Koa Misi and Cam Wake would be strong side/weak side on regular downs and then right side/left side on pass rush downs. This preseason more and more it seems like they've been trying the idea of Cam Wake being always on the left side even on regular downs, and Koa Misi always on the right side...kind of like Pittsburgh with James Harrison and Lamarr Woodley. San Fran did the same last year as well. That approach would be even more formulaic.

So I wonder if O'Brien is kind of trying to snooker the Dolphins into being OK with using Wake more formulaically like that, since O'Brien's statements show that they're preparing for Wake to be moved all over the place. If you know a defense is preparing one way then all things being equal you'd rather not do things the way they're preparing for. Except in this case there's a halfway decent chance the Patriots actually are preparing for Miami's formulaic approach with Cam Wake, they don't want Miami to move him around in Monster Man fashion, and they're just trying to get the Dolphins to do it the way they want it.

Yeah, this is typical Belichick smoke. He always has nice things to say about every opponent that they face without giving away any real substance.
