Patriots vs. Chiefs...Help for Miami?

trust my eyes from the kc and buffalo debacles? we'll see what happens with the gb game, thats gonna dictate the rest of the season. we win that game and we have a real shot to have a winning record and playoff berth this year.

This is amazing because 90% of Patriots fans don't know what it's like to see their team be average, marginal, or even bad. All those bandwagon fans are about to be in for a very rude awakening.

One of the greater truths I've ever read on this board. :brewskis:

Where is this juggernaut Patriot team that was supposedly heading to the Superbowl this year? Damn you Tom Brady for costing me my fantasy football game this week. 50 point lead going into tonight and the clown I am playing has Charles, Edleman and the Chiefs defense. Brady's pick six gave him the win. So Mr Brady, "When I suck, I'll retire", time to get those retirement papers ready, buddy.

Brady getting ready to be interviewed on ESPN, this should be good

I mean I assumed the Pats were going to be good, but I never bought the SB talk. Many people had them facing Seattle in the SB. Their offense looked too mediocre on paper, but they always found ways to win games so you just assumed they would be at least good by default. Maybe not.

I'm kinda shocked at this thread. After last week people were certain Miami would win 5 games and Philbin/Tannehill were done. Now the division is up for grabs.
Exactly my thoughts. Some posters scare me!!!! Their mood swings are like a 5-year old Lil girl that didn't eat their cereal in the morning.

Watching the pats defense get shredded is quite surprisng. People were talking top 3 defense before the season started. Revis is getting chewed up, teams are running right at Chandler jones, and the talk of wilfork being better than ever was clearly fluff.

Pats aren't going to fix this mess with a few tweaks here and there like they have in the past.

Brady is so inaccurate on deep passes they didn't even suit up there outside wide receivers!

It's finally happened! Pats are crumbling!

Well, we always talk about Belichick outsmarting himself with his personnel decisions and then somehow Brady is able to carry the team through it.

This time, he made that one personnel decision that, combined with losing his OL coach to retirement, would make an aging Brady unable to carry the team through it. Traded Logan Mankins for a draft pick and a 3rd string TE.

They were calling him the next Aaron hernandez When the pats got him.

Just like Zack Sudfeld was going to be a Poor version of Gronk.

Media eats that patriots way crap all day. This is the first time I've seen them Question bellichek. That's how you know it's crumbling.

I've been saying for years that Belicheat was not a good GM.

Like Aaron Rodgers said to his fans... 'R E L A X'.

Long season, but Miami has the tools to be better.

This is true, but having seen all of the Patriot games, something is not right with the team. They can turn it around, but unless they make some changes they aren't the sure-fire Super Bowl contender some made them out to be.

They can't protect Brady, but that isn't the only issue. With Gronk not being what he was (and nobody knows if he'll get there) he's been relegated early this season to a redzone only player. This makes the other receivers easy to defend between 20's.

Also, for whatever reason, the Patriots refuse to run consistently even though Ridley and Vereen both are capable backs.

While last week was frustrating and brought up questions it was premature to write us off. At the same time unless Philbin can get consistency out of the team you can't exactly count us in either.

I'm not counting on Miami to do anything. I still sit by my 7-9 prediction. I'd love for 7-9 to win the division but New England still wins 10+ games.

and to think, if AP wouldn't have been sidelined the day before the Vikes played the Pats, they could possibly have been sitting at 1-3 after this game...

Maybe. That's typical NE luck right there.
