Pats D (what was left of it) just took a nose dive Hightower opted out!

I do not blame them for opting out but it will hurt their defense, I would not be surprised if Patriots are in last place in the division
 
Well that should make it easier for the Patriots to go ahead and tank the season and be able to draft Lawrence in the 2021 draft. Just like the Dolphins last year, the Patriots lost a lot in free agency and now they are losing starters who are opting out of the season. I doubt Patriot fans will be upset if the Patriots have a terrible season and then end up getting Lawrence in the draft.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - Belichick is nearly 70. No way he's gonna want to go through a rebuild.
 


Hightower, Cannon and Bolden are the marquee players to leave...

Little by little this Pats team is getting eroded.

Still don't want them to suck so bad as to get Trevor or Fields in the draft.

Jets are primed to have Gase implode and get Trevor, imo...
