I thought Bailey fumbled it through the end zone...it should have been a touchback.

If CBS was on the ball and had some better camera angles (something I've griped about for awhile...FOX does a much better job covering football) it would have been reversed.

IT is almost impossible for the ball to have left Bailey's hands where he fumbled it and it not to have gone into the endzone.

i agree with you about the camera angles needing improvement, but it's pretty tough to imagine looking at that play for 90 seconds and calling it. i agree with belichick's idea that the league needs goal line cameras. that said, the upholding of the call was the right one. to reverse it involves mentally providing information that isn't there (and that's sorta what the guy did in the colts' game).

i find it funny that so many pats' fans, of all people, think the officiating is fixed now. the irony is almost too much.

Theres no way there was any indisputable evidence to overturn the call given the camera angles he had.

What comes around goes around, I agree with the others who said there was not a good camera angle to overturn the call. the difference the TUCK rule was BS and to cover their @55es they forever blurred that situation when it used to be fairly clear, arm moving forward to pass incomplete, arm not moving forward to pass fumble.

Seriously, who ever heard of the tuck rule before that game? In all fairness though, it was an actual rule, whereas the Indy-Pitt game was just something made up by the ref.

it was a fumble out of bounds. his arming was swinging back towards the sideline when he got hit which pushed it out of bounds. give me a break....

I love this quote from the thread on the Pats forum:
'Could we get the satellite images from the government?'

Man, these guys are a little TOO serious about this stuff!

Damn. The fans are so used to the calls going their way, they have become looney about it.
