Even though if the Dolphins beat the Lions and the Jaguars that will probably be the best game that week, it most likely wont be the sunday night game because they have to decide the game 12 days in advance. The results of the Jags game wont be known at that point. That weeks sunday night game will be announced on Monday or Tuesday. Unfortunately, this probably means that the Dolphins/Pats game probably wont be a sunday night game, even though it should be.

Well this is assuming that the NFL wouldn't consider it until after the Jags' game

Why should it be? The race for the AFC East is all but over. The Dolphins are still in the playoff picture provided they beat Jax but it's still not a compelling enough game to be put in prime time. While there aren't a lot of games worthy, I would guess it will be Carolina/NewYork as both will be fighting for a playoff spot.

I thought you meant FIXED....we know the refs always get a little somthing extra from Mr. Kraft.

I hope it isn't NYG/Carolina game because I am sick of watching the Giants on Primetime television.

im rlly hoping they put the game vs new england on sunday night. we have only had 1 primetime game so far this year, which was the first week opening night, and i believe we deserve another one , and also for people to see how good of a team we really are. lets go kick some jaguar but next week

Your title is misleading.

According to B. Jackson of the Herald:

• The Dolphins will learn Monday whether their Dec. 10 home game against New England -- scheduled as an 8:15 p.m. game on NBC -- will be moved to 1 p.m. or 4:15 p.m. on CBS as part of flexible scheduling. Giants-Carolina, New Orleans-Dallas or Indianapolis-Jacksonville might be more appealing prime-time options.

Wow, who knew our game was already selected? Hey NBC, stop showing the Jints, NO@DAL might be cool but the rest of the country is probably tired of Tuna/T.O./Romo over-exposure... and wait for week 17 to show Indy :D

I had forgotten that they had already had us as a preliminary player on that date.. IMO, that means we will DEFINATELY get the game on Sunday Night Football..

The Dolphins are streaking, and the storyline they wanted originally is still there to be played out.

I don't see how the storyline will still be there. It's one thing for us to hold on to thoughts of getting a wildcard, but the division, in all reality, is no longer up for grabs.
In order for the Dolphins to win the divison, the Pats would have to go to 2-4 in the final 6 games.
They play Chicago, Detroit, at Miami, Houston, at Jacksonville, at Tennessee. I don't see 4 losses there, do you?

Saban V. Bellicheck: Both with playoff aspirations.. The story line is still there.
