In the rumors part of ESPN insider, it mentions the Pats installing the Wildcat. Wasn't Moss a HS QB? If anyone should know how to defend it, it should be us. My question is if Brady lines up as a receiver, do we plant his ***? Suprised no body did it to Penny last year.

Hopefully we line up smith across from Brady and put him into his grave! dont forget, Penny is a big dude at 6-4, most corners are 5-11, Penny isnt going to seem like a little barbie doll if a corner tried to take him out

I could of sworn they said they didn't want to take the ball out of their best players hands (Brady)?

Of course they're installing the wildcat. Putting the ball in Brady's hands a ton is going to hurt them this year - he clearly is not the Brady of old...yet.

They've also said they plan on running the ball a lot more.

I think I remember them saying that too (when there was talk of the pats signing Michael Vick,) so yea, you're not dreaming.

Brady's just as tall and probably stronger.

the pats installing wildcat is genius, when the fins did it, it was a gimmick
I guess this will make Pat fans look like hypocrites if they are successful in the wildcat this year. They still believe we were only successful because of the wildcat. If you watch week 3 of the 2008 season, we used our base offense a lot as well and our D had 5 sacks on Cassel.

It's possible they (the Pats) put this out there with no intention of actually doing it. If you think about it would be smart because as we know it makes other teams spend valuable time preparing for it.

I'd love to see this, taking the ball out of Brady's hands and trying to run wildcat plays behind a somewhat questionable O-Line. Doubt we'll see much of this unless the Pats are up three scores and classy Belichick wants his team to have a little "fun".
