For the second consecutive week, Joey Galloway was not active. A disappointing season continued for the Patriots veteran receiver, but could it end? His salary of just less than $1.8 million was guaranteed when he was on the active roster to start the season, so cutting him would cost that much against the cap. Yet if linebacker Junior Seau does sign this week, Galloway may be in trouble. -- Boston Herald .....Ben's Take: Galloway won't have any trouble finding work. He could start for the Chiefs.

By no means do I think this guy is our #1 WR answer for the long haul, but just found this and was curious as to what you guys would think....would you consider bringing him in for a 1 yr deal for the vet minimum to have him mentor to some of our younger WR's? I think he played for Parcells in Dallas if I'm not mistaken.

I agree with you guys...he is 37 yrs old...just found it interesting since he has a history with Parcells

No. Because that would mean we would have to put someone on the practice squad...and if youve seen him in action with the patriots... he sucks.

Tom Brady almost had an aneurysm with Galloway over his performance.

I know! Lets trade for him ... for Ginn... and Crowder and a 5th and a 3rd

I say yes for the same reason Bill Belicheat would. He has the Pats playbook and signals memorized. Competitive advantage guys & no cameras required.

I saw some Patriots football earlier in the season, and Galloway was terrible. No focus, sloppy play... useless out there.

....oh great,we could add more garbage to the trashpile we have now,perfect!:hi5:
